MELTING MOTHER

The world is melting... literally. The polar ice caps are shrinking at an alarming rate and water levels are rising. Within the past couple of years, the earth has suffered a multitude of deadly wildfires due to the extreme temperatures of our planet. I hope that this mural is disturbing to those who view it because we should be disturbed. We need to protect our Mother Earth from her impending death by slowing the progression of global warming. We may be past the point of reversing it, but our current climate has showed that we can slow the process by reducing the consumption of single-use plastics, driving our cars less, and participating in other environmentally-friendly activities. Together, we can change this disturbing image and save the our Mother.
